Museums & Libraries
Museums and libraries can be wonderful places for youth to engage with game design. Through the generous Community Sponsorship of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the partners behind the STEM Challenge have developed a Mentor Resource Kit to give adult mentors an introductory set of materials to help introduce young people to game design in Museum and Library Settings.
Throughout the competition period, IMLS is also partnering with the STEM Challenge to offer a series of hands-on game design workshops in museums and libraries around the country. Check out the ‘Upcoming Events’ sidebar for information on workshops that may be happening in your area.
