We know you love playing video games, but we think you can create your own!
Whether you have designed a game before or if this is your first time trying, we have all of the tools and resources you need to get designing and to enter this exciting competition.
The first step is choosing the best tool for the kind of game you want to create an the tool that is right for your skill level. Some tools don’t require any coding experience, some will teach you to code, and others rely on computer programming. The Game Making Tools chart introduces several popular game-making tools for you to try out. For more information on some of the platforms and tools featured in the STEM Challenge, you can browse the links at the top of the page.
The Challenge is open to Middle and High School youth. Check out the About section for specific eligibility.
